Development
From idea to product
ERLAS supports the customer in product design and in the definition of individual part tolerances so that the laser processes are controllable and the desired results are reliably achieved. Feasibility studies and the production of prototypes provide the decision-making basis for a technical and economic evaluation of the laser application.
Welding engineers and materials specialists provide support in process development. It is not unusual for completely new technologies to be developed in close cooperation with the customer. Examples include laser brazing or process sequences for laser cutting and welding, which were originally developed at ERLAS and are now successfully used in production technology.
