Laser beam cutting
The laser systems of ERLAS cut different materials such as mild steels, high alloyed steels or nonferrous heavy metals up to a thickness of 25 mm (material depending) and in dimensions of 4.000 mm x 2.000 mm in maximum. Longtime experience of our co-workers and newest system technology assure a cutting quality, which considerably exceeds the acknowledged state of the art according to DIN EN ISO 9013:2002 (table 1).

Besides two flat bed machines for the processing of small and extra-large sized sheet metal there are three 5 axes gantry machines for 3D cutting applications available. High beam quality allows precise cutting. High laser power up to 6 kW and process optimizing measures such as spraying on water fog or using special gas nozzles reduces the roughness of the cut surface for thick sheet metal and shifts the process limitations to thicker sheet metal and smaller ridge width.
